The Choir's main function is to sing for weekly Sunday services at the church, enhancing the quality of the worship for the congregation. It consists of singers from all age-groups, both male and female. As a result, the choir produces a full 4-part sound, enabling the choir to regularly sing some of the greatest church music composed, making every service an enjoyable occasion for both the congregation and the choir themselves.
As well as regular Sunday services, the choir is often asked to sing at weddings, and other special occasions, adding the quality prestigious sound which can make any of these occasions extra-special.
| Along side the regular Friday evening practice, there is also a regular Tuesday evening workshop for the younger choristers, allowing them to work at different levels to improve their own awareness of both the liturgical importance of their job, and their singing and general musical ability. This workshop uses the RSCM "Voice for Life" scheme which awards the singers for their ability, eventually bringing them to nationally recognised award levels. |

To compliment the hard yet fun work that the choir does, there are social events and even choir tours, which give the members further experience, and a great time. Recent tours have included Norfolk and Cornwall.
