The main choir practice is on Friday evenings, between 6.45 and 8.00. During this rehearsal, the choir covers all the music for the weekend's services, and sometimes music for future services and events. These rehearsals are fairly laid back and fun, but allow the choir to achieve a high standard of singing.
The choir also meets half an hour before every service to sing through the music, and to make sure everything will run smoothly.
There is a short rehearsal and workshop for the younger members of the choir every Tuesday, in the early part of the evening. During this, the choristers work in small groups to advance their singing and musicianship skills, and understanding of the church liturgy. As the choristers advance, they are able to take official award exams, and start climbing the ladder to being amongst the best church musicians in the country.
